Healthy Ona Ice Cream Sandwiches


What's better than 2 of our tasty, grain-free Ona cookies? 2 Ona cookies held together with a generous layer of ice cream of course. We've put together 4 healthy Ona ice cream sandwiches that you don't need to feel guilty about! Each one features our treats paired with a homemade, dairy free ice cream. We also give store-bought ice cream suggestions because we understand that life gets busy! 

Classic Chocolate Chip

Chances are you’ve had (or at least seen) the traditional chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches. This is a healthier twist on a classic favorite!

Ingredients

-2 Ona Chocolate Chip Cookies

-The Kitchn's Vegan vanilla ice cream recipe or Coconut Bliss Vanilla  ice cream

-Optional: Roll sandwich in dairy free chocolate chips to really mimic the classic sandwich! 

 

Chocolate Chocolate

If you’re a chocoholic, this one's for you!

Ingredients 

-1 Ona Chocolate Chocolate bar, cut in half

-Minimalist Baker's dairy free chocolate ice cream recipe or Coconut Bliss Dark Chocolate ice cream 

Alternative: If this is too much chocolate for you, you can substitute any ice cream! You’ll still get your chocolate fix with the bar. :)

 

Peanut Butter Sammie

-2 Ona Peanut Butter Cookies 

-ice cream of your choice (any vanilla or chocolate would work well). You could even layer in peanut butter and freeze it, for an extra treat! 

 

Mix it up!

Can’t decide on a flavor? Try using 2 different cookies for your sandwich! Really, any of our cookies with ice cream are delicious. I mean, it’s cookies and ice cream…

- 2 Ona cookies of your choice (some combos we recommend are coconut and maple pecan or chocolate chip and peanut butter)

-Dairy free ice cream of your choice. We love any Coconut Bliss flavor
